Xue Andu 薛安都 (410-469), courtesy name Xiuda 休達, from Fenyin 汾陰 in the commandery of Hedong 河東 (today's Wanrong 萬榮, Shanxi) was a high official and traitor of the Liu-Song dynasty 劉宋 (420-479), one of the the Southern Dynasties 南朝 (420-589).
In his youth, he was brave and skilled in archery, and had a wide network of acquaintances. In 444, he rebelled against the Northern Wei dynasty 北魏 (386-534) by seizing control of the province of Dong-Yongzhou 東雍州, and then fled to the Liu-Song empire in the south. Later, he served as a general under Liu Jun 劉駿, the Prince of Wuling 武陵 (and eventual Emperor Xiaowu 宋孝武帝, r. 453-464), and was appointed governor (taishou 太守) of Bei-Hongnong 北弘農. In 453, Liu Jun launched a campaign and pacified the patricide and usurper Liu Shao 劉劭 (424-453). Xue Andu served as the vanguard and, for his merits, was invested as the Baron of Nanxiang District 南鄉縣男.
When Liu Jun ascended the throne, Xue Andu was appointed General of the Left Army (zuojun jiangjun 左軍將軍). He executed Lu Shuang 魯爽 (d. 454), campaigned against Zang Zhi 臧質 (400-454), and participated in the campaign against Prince Liu Yixuan 劉義宣 (415-454).
He served the Song as regional inspector (cishi 刺史) of the province of Xuzhou 徐州 and was stationed in Pengcheng 彭城. When Emperor Ming 宋明帝 (r. 465-472) became emperor, Xue Andu raised troops in support of Liu Zixun 劉子勛 (456-466), the Prince of Jin'an 晉安, but was attacked by the imperial forces. He then surrendered Xuzhou to the Northern Wei, and Emperor Xianwen 北魏獻文帝 (r. 465-470) of the Northern Wei sent a large army to receive him.
In the meantime, Xue regretted his decision, but because Wei forces were already on the way, he had no other choice and was guided to the capital Luoyang 洛陽. He was given the title of General-in-chief Assailing the South (zhennan da jiangjun 南大將軍) and was rewarded with the title of Duke of Hedong 河東公. His posthumous title is Duke Kang 河東康公.
