Kan Zhi 闞止 (d. 481 BCE), also called Jian Zhi 監止, courtesy name Ziwo 子我, was chief minister in the state of Qi 齊 during the Spring and Autumn period 春秋 (770-5th cent. BCE). He served the dukes Dao 齊悼公 (r. 488-485) and Jiang 齊簡公 (r. 484-482).
As a favourite of Duke Jian, he competed for power with the nobleman Tian Chang 田常 (Chen Chengzi 陳成子, Viscount Cheng of Chen). When Tian Chang was confident that he had the support by other nobles of Qi he assassinated Duke Jian and Kan Zhi and enthroned Duke Ping 齊平公 (r. 481-456), himself taking over the factual reign of the dukedom.
