Jia Tuo 賈佗 was a nobleman in the state of Jin 晉 during the Spring and Autumn period 春秋 (770-5th cent. BCE). He was one of the most important retainers of Prince Chong'er 重耳, the eventual Duke Wen of Jin 晉文公 (r. 636-628), during his years in exile.
The "five worthies" (wuxian 五賢) of Prince Chong'er were Zhao Shuai 趙衰 (Zhao Chengzi 趙成子), Hu Yan 狐偃, Xian Zhen 先軫, Wei Chou 魏犨 (Wei Wuzi 魏武子) and Jia Tuo. When the Prince returned to Jin and became duke, Jia Tuo was made a minister.
