Gaotang Sheng 高堂生 (not Gao Tangsheng!), courtesy name Bo 伯, was a Confucian scholar of the Former Han period 前漢 (206 BCE-8 CE). He hailed from Lu 魯 (today's Qufu 曲阜, Shandong) and was an expert in the ritual Classics. Gaotang is credited with the transmission of the 17-chapters long book Yili 儀禮. One of his disciples was Xiao Duo 蕭奮 from Xiaqiu 瑕丘 (today's Yanzhou 兖州, Shandong), who in turn instructed Dai De 戴德 (Dai Senior).

His posthumous title is Marquis Zhuang 壯侯.
