The short Pinghai jiaofei jishi 平定教匪紀事 "Military affairs of the pacification of the sectarian bandits" is a history of the suppression by the Qing dynasty 清 (1644-1911) of the White Lotus 白蓮教 rebellion compiled under the supervision of Leboo (Ch. Lebao 勒保, 1740-1820).

Leboo acted a governor-general of several provinces. In 1796 the White Lotus rebellion broke out in the border region between the provinces Hubei, Hunan and Sichuan. It quickly expanded into Sichuan and even into southern Shaanxi. It could only be suppressed in 1805. The military annals (fanglüe 方略) Pingding jiaofei jishi describes the eight years long war that Leboo fought against the rebels, based on the governor-general's own experience. It is not an official compilation and therefore bares the title jishi instead of jilüe.

The book was printed during the Jiaqing reign-period 嘉慶 (1796-1820).
