Sanguo zashi 三國雜事

Sanguo zashi 三國雜事 "Miscellaneous matters of the Three Empires period" is an historical critique of the Three Empires period 三國 (220-280) written by the Song period 宋 (960-1279) scholar Tang Geng 唐庚 (1071-1121). Tang Geng was a famous poet called the "Small (Su) Dongpo" 小東坡.

The 2-juan long Sanguo zashi discusses political matters of the Three Empires period. It is 36-chapters long and is often included in Tang Gang's collected works. His deliberations of Zhuge Liang's 諸葛亮 change of the judicial system or Xun Yu's 荀彧 battle against Cao Cao 曹操 are of a very special kind and unlike those of older historians.

The Sanguo zashi is included in the series Hanhai 函海, Xuehai leibian 學海類編, Dushuzhai congchu 讀書齋叢書 and the Siku quanshu 四庫全書.
