Xiaowanjuanlou congshu 小萬卷樓叢書

Xiaowanjuanlou congshu 小萬卷樓叢書 "Collectanea of the Small Studio of the Ten Thousand Volumes" is a series of collectanea (congshu 叢書) compiled by the Qing-period 清 (1644-1911) scholar Qian Peiming 錢培名, son of the famous editor Qian Xizuo 錢熙祚 (d. 1844). It includes 17 books with a total length of 64 juan, and an appendix of 7 juan.

Like his father, Qian Peiming was an ardent collector of books and published a lot of critical researches, together with Zhang Wenhu 張文虎 (1808-1885). In the preface of the series, the background of its compilation is described in detail. The series is not restricted to themes or a time frame, but it concentrates on scholarly books of a wide range. It was unfortunately destroyed by the impact of war and rebellion before it could be published and is therefore relatively short in comparison with the collections published by Qian Xizuo.

A later revision resulted in the elimination of the text Xu Lüshi dushi ji 續呂氏讀詩記 that was meanwhile published separately and the subsequent replacement of it by the book Wuling shanren zazhu 武陵山人雜著. Each book is accompanied by a bibliographic description that also includes text-critical remarks. It was printed in 1878.
