Zhizuzhai congshu 知足齋叢書

Zhizuzhai congshu 知足齋叢書 "Collectanea of the Studio of Self-Sufficiency" is a series of collectanea (congshu 叢書) compiled by the Qing-period 清 (1644-1911) scholar Huang Shi 黃奭 (1809-1853), who was also the editor of the series Hanxuetang congshu 漢學堂叢書. The Zhizuzhai congshu includes 13 books with a total length of 32 juan.

It was published when Huang Shi was an official in the provincial judicial court of the province of Zhejiang and includes extracts from historiographies (like fragments of some rare histories on the Later Han period, see Houhanshu 後漢書), books on administrative and jurisdictional matters, commentaries on the Confucian Classics and the dictionary Cangjiepian 倉頡篇. Part of them were also later included in the Hanxuetang congshu. The book Qiushen shihuan 秋審實緩 is important because it gives an overview over important jurisdictional texts of the Qing period. The Luyunji 臚雲集 is a collection of model poetry. All books were commented by the publisher.
