The Suzi 蘇子 "Master Su" is a Daoist treatise compiled by the Jin period 晉 (265-420) writer Su Yan 蘇彦 (or Su Chun 蘇淳). The Song period 宋 (960-1279) scholar Wang Yinglin 王應麟 erroneously attributed the book to the Warring States period 戰國 (5th cent.-221 BCE) politician Su Qin 蘇秦 who has written a book with the same title (see Su Qin's Suzi). The originally 7 juan "scrolls" long book (according to the Gengshizi chao 庚氏子抄, 8 juan, according to the Yilin 意林, 6 juan) is only preserved in fragments collected by the Qing period 清 (1644-1911) scholar Ma Guohan 馬國翰 (Yuhan shanfang jiyi shu 玉函山房輯佚書). It seemed to have still existed as a whole during the Tang period 唐 (618-907).
