The Renjing 忍經, also called Renshu 忍書 "Book of endurance", was written during the Yuan period 元 (1279-1368) by Wu Liang 吳亮 (fl. 1293), courtesy name Mingqing 明卿, from Qiantang 錢塘 (today part of Hangzhou 杭州, Zhejiang).

The book assembles statements on endurance in various literary forms, both prose, and poetry. When Wu Liang wrote his Lidai diwang shixi 歷代帝王世系, Genealogies of emperors throughout the ages, he reflected on his own life and concluded that all his self-discipline could be summed up in a single word, forbearance (ren 忍). Motivated by this insight, he collected maxims and teachings from a wide range of classical texts, both ancient and contemporary, to compile this book.

It is not recorded in book catalogues, but can be found in the series Wulin wangzhe yizhu 武林往哲遺著.
