Chuanya shouyi fang 串雅獸醫方 is a group of separately published chapters on veterinary medicine from the medical book Chuanya 串雅, which was compiled by Zhao Xuemin 趙學敏 (c. 1720-1805).
The chapters in question originate in the part Chuanya waipian 串雅外編, namely Shouyi 醫獸 "Veterinary medicine", Yiqin 醫禽 "Care for poultry or birds", and Linjie 鱗介 "[Medical care for] fishes". The animals for which prescriptions are provided range from domestic animals like horses, cattle, camels, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats, to wild or semi-wild animals like monkeys, deer, and elephants. In the birds section, recipes are given for chicken, cranes, doves, quails, parrots, peacocks and pheasants. The fishes section also includes methods to care for tortoises.
A modern edition of these chapters was published in 1983 by the Nongye Press 農業出版社.
