Guanjing 雚經

Guanjing 雚經 is a book on the bird species crane written by Jiang Dejing 蔣德璟 (1593-1646), courtesy name Zhongbao 中葆, style Bagong 八公 or Ruoqing 若柳, from Quanzhou 泉州, Fujian. His collected writings are called Jingritang ji 敬日堂集.

The text describes the origins and history of cranes (he 鶴), their designations in various dialects, their physical features, biology and reproduction, use of their body parts as medicine, and quotes various stories about the birds. The text is found in the series Shuofu xu 說郛繼.
