Guoyunlou shuhua ji 過雲樓書畫記 is a book on calligraphy and painting written during the late Qing period 清 (1644-1911) by Gu Wenbin 顧文彬 (1811-1889), courtesy name Zishan 子山 or Gen'an 艮盫. He was circuit intendant (daotai 道臺) of Ning-Shao 寧紹. His collected poems are called Meilulou shi 眉淥樓詩.
The book of 10 juan length was finished in 1882. It describes 246 artworks of Gu's private collection in his "Lodge of Passing the Clouds" (Guoyunlou 過雲樓), first the calligraphic works, and from fascicle 6 on paintings. He not only describes the physical characteristics of the artworks like the format or the paper quality, but also cites the text of the calligraphies and the dedications (tiyu 題語), the dating lines (xingkuan 行款), and seal imprints (yinzhang 印章). Furthermore, Gu assesses the artistic quality of each piece. Gu explicitly does not include in his book artworks on silk, rubbings of stele inscriptions, painted silk tapestry (kesi 緙絲), non-mounted objects (dantiao 單條), paintings on fans, and artworks created by females.
Gu Wenbin's grandson Gu Linshi 顧麟士 (1865-1930) added a supplement of 6 juan called Guoyunlou xu shuhua ji 過雲樓續書畫記, which describes 114 art objects. It was published in 1927.
