Huang-Ming shuhua shi 皇明書畫史 "History of painting and calligraphy of the August Ming", also called Ming shuhua shi 明書畫史, was written during the mid-Ming period 明 (1368-1644) by Liu Zhang 劉璋, courtesy name Guifu 圭甫, from Jiading 嘉定.

The book of 3 juan length and finished in 1515 records nearly 400 master calligraphers and painters from the the Yuan 元 (1279-1368) to the early Ming period. It describes the paintings and calligraphies of Ming emperors, scholar-officials, monks and private artists, and discusses the lineages of teacher-disciple relations. The book is often quoted in later, more famous books like Peiwenzhai shuhua pu 佩文齋書畫譜, Song-Yuan yilai huaren xingshi lu 宋元以來畫人姓氏錄 and Yeshiyuan shumu 也是園書目 (ch. Hualu lei 畫錄類). It is thus an essential reference for the study of Ming-period calligraphy and painting, including issues of collection and appreciation.
