Tui'an jinshi shuhua ba 退庵金石畫跋 is a book on calligraphy and painting written during the late Qing period 清 (1644-1911) by Liang Zhangju 梁章鉅 (1775-1849), courtesy name Chenlin 茞林, style Tui'an 退庵.
The book of 20 juan length was finished in 1845. The book contains information on his collection of rubbings of bronze and stele inscriptions, calligraphies and paintings. It quotes the inscriptions and the accompanying dedication texts (ti-ba 題跋). The collection includes 11 inscriptions of ancient bronzes, 2 of ancient ink-stones, 90 rubbings of stone tablet inscriptions, 125 pieces of calligraphy, and 258 paintings, most of which are masterpieces. In addition to the quotations, Liang describes and comments on the artworks, rates their quality, and discusses their genuineness. Liang also adds dedications and praise poems (tishi 題詩) written by himself and his friends.
