Xuzhai minghua lu 虛齋名畫錄 is a book on painting written during the very late Qing period 清 (1644-1911) by Pang Yuanji 龐元濟 (1864-1949), courtesy name Laichen 萊臣, style Xuzhai 虛齋.
The book of 16 juan length, finished in 1909, describes 535 "famous paintings" (minghua 名畫) of Pang's collection in his "Studio of Voidness" (Xuzhai 虛齋). The author sorts the pieces into the categories scrolls (juan 卷), mounted scrolls (zhou 軸), and albums (ce 冊). He indicates the format, material (paper, silk) of each piece, quotes dedications (ti-ba 題跋), mentions seal imprints (yinzhang 印章) and datings (kuanzhi 款識), and gives also remarks on damages, e.g., by silverfish.
A supplement of 4 juan to the catalogue, Xuzhai minghua xulu 虛齋名畫續錄, was finished in 1924. It adds about 200 more paintings.
